Shoe, I think your assertion can be proven wrong by a living example. Trump is sliding into dementia but he seems to have no problem keeping up with all of his petty grudges.
I came, I saw, forgot where I was going, retraced my steps, got lost. Now I don’t know where I am….. And I have to “P”. ( Was on a T-shirt) LOL

I asked my doctor if my forgetfulness could be the beginnings of Alzheimers, as my mum had a bit of dementia in her 80’s.
He said no, in your 60’s it is common to forget things..
Did my doctor just tell me I was OLD?
