Nope, Joe Biden doesn’t parse words like tRump does. No pardon. Justice would be served if Hunter got a suspended sentence based on precedent. If that doesn’t come, the president commuting his sentence would be fair and acceptable.

Furthermore, a lack of integrity has become a hallmark of Trump and many Republican politicians, that they expect it everywhere. And through it all, no thought of the anguish a parent feels if their child goes to prison, and how it would play upon your conscience knowing you can do something about it. But I don’t think it will happen. I think this plan of making it an issue will drive Biden to not do it. But who knows? The Presidential pardon has been used by all the modern presidents for all kinds of people. What kindness do we show a stranger that we wouldn’t show our children?
I’ll bet real money that after the election, no matter who wins, Biden will pardon Hunter. This not a criticism of him, meanly an objective look at reality. Of course Biden says he’s not going to pardon his son with the election looming, really bad optics if he did. And it doesn’t matter until after the elections are over. If Hunter gets jail time, doubtful and I hope not, of course Biden will commute his sentence to be followed by a pardon after the elections. How not?
