Wolfgang is just not as famous as John would have us think, I guess.

That Chef Boyarde is the worst spaghetti sauce I’ve ever tasted. It is so artificial. Yuck!

Ettore Boiardi was quite a popular restaurateur in his own right. It would be fair and accurate to say he served Chef Boyardee at home

So, his restaurant, Spago’s was on he Sunset strip, across a small, side street street from TOWER Records. He used the parkway – the grassy strip between sidewalk and curb – to grow fresh herbs for his kitchen. On several occasions in the late-80’s, I witnessed a homeless person or a cast off from the Rainbow Room, either unfeeding or relieving themselves on those herbs…

He adds pepper for the personal touch.
