We only have fireworks around NYE here, but they start in October and last all through January mostly.

since it’s so humid here we keep the window a/c on and that drowns out most of the noise

Very quiet here this year. Son and I went out to watch in our drive way. 11pm we said “guess nothing this year.” Next year it’s on a Friday. Usually quite loud and messy on those days.

I haven’t gone out in the yard to see how much debris from the neighbors fireworks fell in my yard.

Must’ve bought more than they could shoot.

Last year one of my older neighbors who needed the sleep was kept awake by the fireworks and he died. It was horribly sad.

My neighbors were either away or finally got tired of us neighbors calling the cops on them when they were starting to set them off at 11:40 PM. I’m good to 11, but after that, nah.

Not me. One day of turkey is fine, but a week’s worth of dried out leftovers…not so much.

9 straight hours of fireworks in my neighborhood. Sounded like a war zone. Started at 4:30 PM and ended at 1:30 AM.

The 4th of July is much nicer now that I retired…no need to get up the next day. Or maybe I’m just trying to find a positive to getting old!
