I microwave the cheese sandwich until it starts to get hard, then I use that as the middle part of a different sandwich.

Double the bread, eliminate the sogginess. I call it “a grilled cheese sandwich”, or for those who won’t accept that term, “a grilled cheese sandwich sandwich”.

I would toast the bread first and then let it sit for about 5 minutes. Then add cheese and microwave. Or try putting some Doritos or Sun Chips on your bread. They will absorb the steam and add extra flavor.

Had to look that up – 80% genius. Just kidding. But the math is correct.

I mean, they make sandwich grills. Just drop in the sandwich, close the lid and hit a button.

Actually, I do that … it works great, as long as you toast the bread enough.

Obviously, if it’s the buttery fried-ness that you like, then it may be lacking, but if it’s the toasty bread cheesiness that you like (as I do), it’s great.

I know someone who thinks like this! Bleah!

I use a panini press and don’t forget the mayo on the outside of the bread far a crispy goodness.

That’s a pretty generous way for Scott to describe Rick. Unless he’s thinking of Pac-Man mid-chomp.

Toasted cheese is the only thing a microwave cannot handle.

Are there no toaster ovens in this universe?
