This a satire on the current trend of adding hot peppers and other mouth-burning ingredients to foods. Some of the latest abominations I’ve seen on store shelves are jalapeño pretzels and ghost pepper potato chips. I would like to know who dreams up these horrible concepts. There must be some association of pepper growers pushing this stuff.
This is just another food fad that needs to go away.
Maybe Rose, or Vickie, should come up here and try some Tiger Tail. I know a few places in Japan that sell soft serve vanilla with wasabi, real wasabi, not that dyed horseradish found over here, on one side of the cone. If the Gumbos ever visited Japan, Vickie would go crazy with the food.
So I looked it up and although no one seems to sell ice cream in that flavor, there’s no shortage of recipes available online to make your own. Back in 2020 it seems that Walmart offered 48 oz cartons of Mango Habanero Coconut Ice Cream
Peanut butter (NOT SPICY) the food of life. I had 1/2 a pb sandwich (no jelly, etc) for lunch every day in school through junior high – one day mom sent me a full sandwich figuring that I was older and must be hungry and I brought the second half home. (In high school and college I skipped lunch.)
So the decades went past (a lot of them) and along came something called “Covid”. Since same started unless we go out for lunch (not all the first year and once or twice a week – maybe after, until this past year) I am back to pb sandwiches – though husband insists I eat a whole sandwich now.
Peanut butter is extremely nutrious and keeps well. It can be put on (just based on Covid life) any kind of bread or crackers or eaten from the jar with a spoon plus I am sure other people eat with/on foods also – I tend to be a picky eater.

Sounds interesting. Curried peanut butter, yummy and cocnut for texture.

That combo tastes good in other kinds of food presentation—I’d try it.

Actually sounds pretty good. I love peanut butter and curry. Hope it’s not too spicy.

Is this the first time that Jimbo is aware of Rose’s alter ego?

Curry and ice cream do not go together.

Leave out the peanut butter and I’d be willing to try it. But peanut butter has no business being in anything considered “candy” or “dessert.”

The alternating flashes of fire and ice sound intriguing.
