I once made a jig-saw, gluing a photo of a classic car onto thin plywood, then spent many hours cutting it into pieces on a Delta saw. Took it to my parent’s place for its inaugural assembly…one piece was missing- my Grandmother’s dog was chewing it under the table!

Oh, how I hated that dog.

I’d be tormented by being forced to do a jigsaw puzzle. The cheerful pastoral scenes are a nice touch.

If you do them online, no worries about missing pieces…or closet space.

Ah, our buddy bleeb is back in he!! for some more flame surfing. Have fun, Bleeb, and I hope that “observation” is possible through all of those flames.

I hear that they also torture you with 51 cards in a deck for Solitaire, too!

(Yeah, yeah, I know the song!) (˃̵ᴗ˂̵)

I’m not crazy about jigsaw puzzles. I’d sooner do crosswords.

If you think that’s bad, you haven’t experienced putting together a good-sized Lego set only to find a piece missing. (To be fair, with Legos, if you really get into them, you might have a decent substitute for a standard piece in your box of extras.)

It looks like the torture is a “jig-saw puzzle” with only one enormous piece.
