It seems Miss Plainwell has first hand experience with Frazz ’s mowing(maybe during the lockdown).

Pushing a reel is better than a gym.

Is a reel mower a real mower?

Better to leave the shirt on to keep the sun off your skin.

Went fishing on a cloudless day and recognized I was covered more from head to toe than I am during the winter time protecting myself from the sun!

We had a push-reel mower when I was a kid. I had to mow the lawn every Saturday. My dad finally broke down in 1969 and bought a gas mower. Suddenly the lawn only needed to be mowed once a month. Gas was too expensive (24 cents a gallon).

Indoor fluorescent light doesn’t give one much of a tan.

It’s a reel mower that you push which makes it a push reel mower, not a push-reel mower.

After many years of complaints, the NFL franchise in Washington DC finally abandoned the term “Redskins”, which was purported to be offensive to Amerinds. In actuality, most indigenous people don’t have red skins at all, more like the perfect tan. To achieve that lovely roseate glow you have to start out pasty white (like me) and discover that Old Man Sun just chuckles at the whole concept of “white privilege”.
