What’s the big deal? Now you can clearly go after the president for wrongdoings when he was not engaged in official presidential duties, but acting personally.
What’s the big deal? Now you can clearly go after the president for wrongdoings when he was not engaged in official presidential duties, but acting personally. You just need to keep digging, find a DA and an agreeable judge, and go to it.
Lisa Benson is celebrating the work of the sort of “activist judges” that she has a long history of condemning because she likes that they are letting her convicted felon, adjudicated rapist and business fraud get away with his many crimes because he is her cult leader. The USSC, the republican cult, and America hating hypocrites like Lisa Benson deserve to be scorned and called out as the sort of worthless trash that they are.
Either the Republicans are stupid or willfully ignorant. A corrupt President (like Trump) will say that everything he does is part of his official duties and that he is immune to prosecution. A dishonest court will back him up.
I firmly believe the SCOTUS needs to be disbanded, and the rulings they’ve made for the last two years set aside.
Seat a new SCOTUS, which actually puts the law and nation above the party.
Conservatives have been complaining about illegals crossing the border. So they came up with a plan. Knowing that people are fleeing Shole countries, they decided if we become one, people will stop coming. Here is the first shot at a permanent president like Putin and Xi so Trump can make it so!!
I write separately to highlight another way in which this prosecution may violate our constitutional structure. In this case, the Attorney General purported to appoint a private citizen as Special Counsel to prosecute a former President on behalf of the United States. But, I am not sure that any office for the Special Counsel has been “established by Law,” as the Constitution requires. Art. II, §2, cl. 2. By requiring that Congress create federal offices “by Law,” the Constitution imposes an important check against the President—he cannot create offices at his pleasure. If there is no law establishing the office that the Special Counsel occupies, then he cannot proceed with this prosecution. A private citizen cannot criminally prosecute anyone, let alone a former President.
I have to assume that most of our political cartoonists are intelligent people. And, that their job is to create satire.. but dang, you guys are playing with fire. You do acquire a following that takes you seriously.. aided by a number of commentators praising you works.. to the eventual detriment of the whole country. THINK, seriously think about the consequences of a trump presidency given what he says and now, with the courts blessing.
Going forward, it will take the courts decades to split the hairs on what’s private and what’s an official act by by a crooked President. De facto the President has complete immunity.
I know people are refusing to see this but Obama technically committed treason when he aided Al Qaeda in fighting against Assad and murder when he assassinated an American citizen without a trial. And no one wanted to try him for those crimes committed as part of his duties as president. You are now only complaining because you want to attack a president without regard of his rights.
So, if you think Alfred is too old to run the Wayne mansion and the Batcave, do you really want to not only put the Joker in charge, but make him King?
Look, King (bleep) doesn’t need to order a Seal Team to assassinate his opponents. For one thing, the UCMJ (for now) explicitly says that a military member must not obey an illegal order. However, King (bleep) can simply “deputize” some of his militia pals (I’m sure MAGA creeps like Fresco and Fern will be right there, waving their arms, shouting “Me! Me! Me!”) to do the wet work, for which they will be instantly pardoned.
Sorry about the mess. The Brown Shirts and Praetorian Guard are coming if they actually move our country into a Mad Max dystopia run by warlords, criminals, and murderers.
Go on, MAGA idiots. Vote for the executioners of yourselves and your families and kiss the future Earth goodbye. After all, one part of Project 2025 is to declared Climate Research to be “Junk Science” and part of a “woke” agenda.
Was just reading the complete SCOTUS decision on Presidential Immunity. Jack Smith is in deep trouble. His appointment is totally illegal, his funding is illegal, and he personally has no standing as a prosecutor he is a private citizen. There is no congressional position authorized to place him in, Garland cannot make one up. The regulations Garland rubbered to make the appointment are only meant to be used to temporarily fill non judicial positions in the FBI. What’s more in his zeal to make a big show out the raid on Mar-a-Largo the FBI and DOJ officials lead to the spoliation of the evidence. There were 15 boxes of records that were securely stored at Mar-a-Largo under lock and key. The US Archives knew about them and their contents. The Presidential records secretary was in communications with the National Archives about their storage. To make a big show on the MSM one of the boxes was dumped out on the floor and SF-703 security cover sheets carried in by DOJ officials were placed on top of the pile. The other boxes were rifled through stuffed back in the boxes randomly these files were not documented or photographed in anyway. The Trump defense lawyers in discovery requested a catalog of these records they needed some of them for Trumps defense, They already had a court certified list. Jack Smith refused to supply any of the requested records. It was than found out what happened. This alone is grounds for instant dismissal of charges. It is wonderful to watch Biden’s out to get Trump army going down in flames. It is even better to listen to those with TDS caterwauling in sackcloth and ashes.
The difficulty with democracy, is that it was designed expecting that the leaders would be basically of good character, and that there would be “good men” in the other branches to act as a check on anyone who was corrupt.
What to do when there is a whole group of corrupt individuals who have infiltrated the very fabric of our democracy?
First, there are two bills that are being presented, one in the U.S. House of Representatives and one in the U.S. Senate to implement ethics rules and enforcement for SCOTUS.
S.359 – Supreme Court Ethics, Recusal, and Transparency Act of 2023
H.R.8098 – Judicial Ethics Enforcement Act of 2024
Secondly, an Inspector General can be appointed to oversee SCOTUS.
Thirdly, justices Alito, Thomas, and Roberts can be impeached.
Unfortunately, all of these actions depend on a BLUE wave in November 2024 – U.S. presidency, House, and Senate

SCROTUS Six proudly announce the marriage of Alice In Wonderland and Captain Yossarian.
So you have to determine official acts from unofficial acts but you cannot enter anything about the “official act” into evidence.

NONE. All his actions can be looked at through that lens.
