When the show is a familiar one, Schulz made the puppets actually resemble the plot.

She’s such a fussbudget.

That’s not as low as what Pete Best did. Pete Best was the original drummer of the Beatles, until he was fired and replaced with Ringo. A few years later, he produced his own album, shamelessly calling it, “Best of the Beatles”.

Ugh!!

Statler: False advertising? I highly doubt that.

Waldorf: Yeah, it was already advertised as terrible.

Why not a thousand pawpets?

Years ago in a car pool with a friend, the morning news reports often mentioned an accident with injuries. He’d once said, “Boy, that person named Injuries gets in a lot of accidents!”

Of course it is.

A cast of thousands of actors would make for a very long play. Or some really big crowd scenes.

I always loved Pawpet Theater.

In Act II Joe gets hit by a falling piano and spends the rest of the play in a full-body cast, hence the title.

Patience, Lucy. Our hero, Joe Thousands, breaks his arm in Act II and is taken to the emergency room for treatment. Hence the title, Cast of Thousands.

anyone else remember when trailers actually carried that phrase?

Is he going to perform the chorus from Mahler’s 8th? Maybe Mel Blanc might have been able to do it, but I doubt Snoopy can.
