I’m sure she’ll get you something nice, Brutus. You might have to wait until December to open it, but still.

Bear broke into my backyard tonight, I opened the gate and told it to leave…it did! I have to go around and see if a limb or something fell on the fence tomorrow. I know Brutus P. Thornapple that you have a ton of deer and bear.

I wouldn’t mind some Christmas weather right now. Several days here above 100. While there are concerns about Christmas in July, I’m all for a winter wonderland in July.

Sorry Brutus, hope retail stores don’t see you comic strip today. They’ll start putting up Christmas decorations tomorrow. Christmas season is long enough already.

For me it’s always Xmas, because when I look in the mirror there’s snow on my roof.

When I was in high school, I worked as a stock boy for a large chain card store. We would start to get Christmas cards and other items like peppermint scented candles in July. Ok, I could see the necessity for that. Even though we didn’t put the Christmas themed items out until after Labor Day, people would come it asking for those things.

Good one! She’s off to spend the nonexistent Christmas in July bonus that Veebs is so generous about. In this case Brutus’s humbug is justified. So much for the economizing! Btw nice chapeau Gladys.

Already got Christmas Movies on TV, I am told. It’s 105 deg outside and snowing on TV. What a cruel world. Gladys can buy Brutus a Giant Meat Lovers Pizza for supper and all is well. I do my shopping for everyone at my Credit Union. Greenbacks. Never had any returned.
