So even if it is a mild, chilly, chili, would it still be called a chilly chili if it could set off the fire alarm 3 times while cooking?

I could never understand the allure of trying to find the hottest, spiciest food to eat. How can you enjoy the taste of the food if it’s swathed in hot sauce or red pepper or jalapenos. Eventually your taste buds get burned out and you need to find hotter and spicier things to eat to taste anything at all.

Give it a try Brutus . How bad can it be ?

when I cook certain stuff I managed to get thee smoke alarm on… which is why I’m not aloud to make grilled cheese sandwiches much anymore. :}

Smoked chili is one thing but grease fire chili is a hard pass. Or maybe an easy pass if you eat it.

At least you can be assured that it is fully cooked and that it PROBABLY is OKAY. to eat…..

Cook must be near me, my smoke detector keeps going off for unknown reasons at random times. I just thought maybe people using fire pits and not putting them out fully. And no, it’s not from the battery getting low. In fact, I changed it to make sure.

False alarm chili….

Chef probably also sets off the fire alarm making a banana split. But are you sure you are that hungry, Brutus?

It’s too bad the cook didn’t try for 4 alarm chili, then maybe the while diner would’ve been burnt down.

It’s kinda ironic that something that is often spicy hot would be called chili.

By the way, the Fire Department says it taste pretty good.

Our local craft brewery specializes in smoky flavored beers. No thanks.

Next week is my birthday, so I will make my semi-famous chili. but this time I am replacing the habaneros with Carolina Reapers. I already had one in my red beans and rice and was good.

I haven’t had chili in a long time. I think I might need some in the next few weeks. Sounds good.
