I’m surprised that the moat still has water in it

We’ve just had a heatwave in England. We were told on the news that our three days of hot weather was enough days to count as a heatwave. Now thunderstorms are sweeping across England from the south.

Moats …. into which flowed all the sewage.

The Fink doesn’t find it remoatly amusing.

‘Desperate Times Call for Desperate Measures’

Yeah, Rod, but this might suggest a great way of reaching out to your Hun enemies. Don’t think of the heat alone, but of a Hun resort with diving and moat monster wrestling. For them, this is heaven. And when the night falls they’d enjoy the coolness of a good stretch in the dungeon. Y’all have all the amenities of a good Hun retreat.

Add a few slides and, voila, Id water park.

Well it’s 72°F and will get up to 83°F today, that is actually below normal for August 1st.

Send Henry to the basement to the iron door, and have him heat the water to boiling.

If you can’t take the castle, you can always enjoy it.

110 degree heat index in Kansas City today (in the shade). I remember an arc a long time ago when Id finally launched its navy. Rodney was the admiral, there was only ONE ship, and it only sailed in the moat.
