Spud keeps his priorities straight. I kinda hope he gets home with it.

Something tells me the emerald is going to be someone else’s “finders-keepers” soon..

They stop for ice cream. As Wallace is showing others his find, it drops onto Spud’s ice cream. While making googly-eyes at Amelia, Spud swallows the gem.

Wallace will do the right thing. Except that Amelia’s going to hit him over the head to get the valuable item, and Rose won’t be able to hold her off very long…

Maybe it’s part of a necklace Wallace’s mom wore when she was a mermaid…

“Make Mine A 99. Ah the 99 ice cream cone, usually made with vanilla soft serve ice cream with a half a Flake bar sticking out of it. Growing up in Ireland in the 70’s, 80’s and even 90’s this was the go to ice cream because it usually came to you, by way of the ice-cream ‘mind that child’ van.” No I’m not Irish, I know someone who is.

I suspect that we’ll see a map with dotted lines wandering all over town on the way “straight” home.

The Prof. is awesome! I wonder if the parents will keep the emerald for Wallace or decide to sell it.

I got a chip of a “raw” emerald (not gem-cut, not transparent, looked a bit like jade) in a mail promo; it was so tiny, I don’t know where I lost it. It may be around the house, but useless.

“Hold it tight in your hand and walk straight home” is a reference to “Willy Wonka” when Charlie found the golden ticket.
