Messing up his hair, singular.

Mutt’s upset over the boy’s hair? Mutt is a married man, who sleeps in the same bed as his best friend Jeff. The wife? Well, maybe she’s a free and blithe spirit too.

Not too often that I can work “blithe” into a comment.

In The Sting, two thugs enter a room, one is much bigger than the other. Robert Redford’s character calls them “Mutt and Jeff”, but calls the smaller one Mutt. That’s always bothered me.

It worked for me.

I dunno, Mutt’s son looks an awful lot like Jeff…

How old is the term “hippie”?

Why on God’s green Earth do they feel that they need to air-brush Al Smith’s signature out of the strip? They don’t do that with Bud Fisher’s.

So when you only have one hair, this is how you go ’60s wacky and be a long hair.
