Financial struggling newlyweds are nothing new, and likely the vast majority. There was an old saying when I was young, “Two can live as cheaply as one…” I doubt that was ever true, but the thought is that the couple become one, partners, a team, and together build as good a life as they can. It doesn’t always work that way, unfortunately. Perfection costs more.
