My son and DIL became vegan. We don’t even try to feed them, although my wife will ask ahead of a visit what foods they’d want on hand. We end up with quantities of produce that goes to waste.
And of course the writer has learned from Hollywood; you only show characters turning in one direction, never in the other. You would never see a character quit being a vegetarian or a “vegan” for example, even though practically no one stays “vegan” for long. Even top “vegan” bloggers quit in droves to save their health, as shown here:>
I once knew a kid (late teens) whose family was so strickly vegan, that he refused to eat anything at a cookout, including corn on the cob because it was already buttered. His skin was a sickly yellow. I felt bad for him.
Yeah, it’s Fillmore’s fault that Herman wants to become vegan. I just hope that this doesn’t become like what happened when Lisa Simpson became a permanent vegetarian.
I’m perfectly fine with veganism for humans, if it’s done properly. But, sharks are obligate carnivores. There’s no proper way for them to be vegan. Herman would starve to death if he tried this.
My sister and I have a rare blood group. The blood Bank won’t accept my blood as I have CFS/ME. She was vegan for a few years. But the blood Bank told her that her vegan diet was affecting the quality of her blood. Shes back to eating everything. Feels much better

Remind that kid that chocolate and ice cream both contain milk.

I’ve been friends with a vegan for over 20 years now. She’s Bi Polar and I just tell her… you eat what you want and quit preaching to me!!

I just looked it up: Great White Sharks are indeed obligate carnivores, so this story arc had better have a meaty ending!

What’s wrong with that? It’s a sign of mental illness, for starters.

I decided to never go vegan after seeing Peta’s infamous “got autism?” ad. There’s no way I was going to condone that sort of bigotry.

It’s easy to hunt vegetables. Not like they can get far in a wheelchair.

Its unnatural for sharks Filmore to go totally vegetarian. Some species have been observed eating seaweed though.
