I saw them curling and unfurling, sailing the sunny skies over Woodstock, Georgia this afternoon… trailing webby wisps in their wake.

Though I had miles to go [before I sleep?] I could not tear myself away to head homeward. The word “transfixed” has now new, visceral meaning for me. I would not say that I gasped, but I could feel the pleura contracting around my lungs.

It was more than an hour before I could leave that Kroger parking lot.

Sweet.

Cute! Also interesting—for some reason I thought Seagull just kinda hung out; he’s usually there even if it doesn’t make sense, almost like an imaginary friend. But this is direct interaction between boy and bird, and confirms that Seagull is along for the adventure.

Seagull behaves a bit like a domestic cat.
