NATIONAL CHERRY POPSICLE DAY. I have popsicles. I’ll have to find a cherry one.
It is also the final day of my wonderful, fantastic, relaxing two-week vacation. On Tuesday, it’s back to work. I spent most of my vacation just relaxing outside in my lawn swing, reading one book after another. I read a lot of books over the 2 weeks. But I did actually manage to get some other things done. My garden was a total failure, so I didn’t spend much time out there. I have no green beans, no zucchini, very little sweet corn (and the little I got was really tiny ears), very few tomatoes and no peppers. I have one small watermelon, but it’s not ripe yet. And I can’t even find the squash plants that I planted. So, okay, no garden to speak of this year. No use crying about that because that wouldn’t change anything. But I did get some work done in my back yard and I did some house cleaning. So, I got some good stuff done. I guess going back to work will be okay. But not nearly as much fun as vacation was. Oh, and about my garden – the sunflowers and marigolds are looking great! So the birds and butterflies are happy. That makes me happy too.
Chez, get out of that alley! I have no idea what is happening today with Molly, Corrie, the trainer who was so very interested in adding her to her pack and promised we would meet today, never returned my texts or phone calls yesterday after we had agreed Thursday to finalize when and where today. She has a vet appt at 11:30 regarding hair loss around one eye, I’ll take her bed and toys with me in hopes that we get a meeting arranged. Will this turn out to be another “too good to be true” happenings?
Update: re: Junior (of TinyKittens). Well, his momma was caught yesterday and is in TinyKittens HQ with Shelley. Interesting video – Mister (yes, that’s her name) is NOT FERAL, looks exactly like her son Junior, and is already up for adoption!!!!! What an adorable, sweet natured young kitty. Junior was already adopted into his new forever home! His gorgeous momma won’t have any problem either!!!! What a sweetheart.
I don’t think anybody likes Chesney’s attitude. Too bad there isn’t an app to make him chill out. On another note, saw two juncos, a robin, a wren, a dragonfly, and seven chickadees while out walking today.

I walked following GPS once, round in circles I went too!!! ask a human for directions its quicker!!!
