Coffee is just about right when you stir it, and the spoon dissolves.

I like making cold brew with an infuser, but it uses up a lot more beans than making hot coffee by my usual methods (Mocha Pot this morning).

Left a half cup of hot coffee on my desk. Later in the day, being too lazy to walk downstairs and brew another or microwave it, I drank it and actually enjoyed it cold. Who knew? Added it to the menu.

A fuse melts, so the coffee must have too much salt.

I love coffee, a habit developed from over 30 years of shift work. Nice comment section with plenty of coffee ideas. I personally use the 4 cup drip coffee maker. My wife and I use a full canister in the morning, and I brew another 4 cups to use during the day. On our set, 4 cups is really only 2 mugs worth of coffee.

I know my coffee is the right strength when it starts to dissolve the spoon!

Put me in that comic strip, I’ll sample the brew.

I’ve been drinking cold black coffee for over 40 years, before anyone invented “cold brew.” For hot coffee, I went to black when the only creamer where I worked was the miserable powdered stuff. For iced coffee, I was in a restaurant, very thirsty on a very hot day, and when my iced coffee arrived I drank it down before adding milk or sugar. I also discovered that I liked it. Been drinking it that way ever since.

I tried a couple of methods I found online for making cold brew at home, but they either didn’t work well or were more trouble than they were worth. So I went back to the basics: I brew a strong (because I like it that way) pot of hot coffee in the usual fashion, then let it cool down to room temperature during the day. In the evening I pour it into a bottle and put it in the fridge, and it’s nice and cold the next morning. Lasts me about two days.
