My calico cat is morbidly obese. Every time I sit down to my desktop, she starts wailing as if she’s afraid I’ll become so absorbed in what I’m reading that I’ll forget to feed her. The only way I can shut her up is to give her some food.

When my cat Oliver is meowing like he’s hungry, I go to look in his bowl. If it’s full, I tell him “FAKE MEWS!!”
