I knew it had to be something like this but it was still shocking to see a railroad tanker labeled High Fructose Corn Syrup. It’s a wonder to me they don’t have pipelines to move that stuff since it is used in so many things.

Rats, this reminded me I was going to make waffles this morning. Instead, I had the same old same old. But I was going to use Maple syrup . Sometime, corn syrup.

PepsiCo still makes Pepsi with real sugar, they’ve renamed it Soda Shop. But they stopped making Mountain Dew with real sugar. I’ve been going through withdrawal, not because of the lacking the real Dew, but because I dread the corn syrup sodas. I’m going back to lemonade, put 2 cups lemon juice and 2 cups sugar in a 1 gallon pitcher, fill with water to 1 gallon, makes 1 gallon.

Not good.
