“Death of Summer” flavor is plain vanilla. No toppings ,no fillings, no jimmies or colorful M&Ms sprinkles, no nothing. Just a plain vanilla cone for a plain vanilla mood caused by all the BACK-TO-SCHOOL ads haunting her and the days growing shorter.

Yeah, the foliage is nice – but once those leaves fall from the trees and the Winds of November come howling – Forget. IT!!

Give it up Adam — convincing her of something other than her personal opinion is like Sisyphus trying to roll the stone uphill.

For about a week a year, those trees back there turn yellow, orange and red. But they will be green again by Thanksgiving.

Is it too early for hormone therapy for her?

I adore Fall when the leaves turn, and the weather turns cooler (though that likely won’t happen until mid-October). And I don’t have to turn on the A/C when I get home. Also, fall is the beginning of the triple crown of holidays: Halloween, Thanksgiving and Xmas! Of course, we still have Christmas creep to deal with. And the stores being decked out in Christmas finery before Halloween! If there ever was a war on Christmas, Christmas won! (I still enjoy Christmas though)

I think he is talking about dead and dying foliage. Green leaves are foliage.
