Grocery store item: dried fruit weight 9oz. price $14 – sirloin 1 lb. $15.95. Doesn’t compute until one includes price gouging and profiteering on the basics. Then all is clear.
Roasting chicken: $22.00, inside round roast beef, $35.00
There are some times that I just don’t care. She’s my wife and she’s worth it.
People who can afford to dine out are not the ones really feeling the price crunch.
