World War II (the cat next door) should’ve made a loud snicker on that, given cats are obligate carnivores.

That was a cruel, cruel joke, Charlie Brown. No one should be threatened with vegetarianism and/or veganism, ever.

Don’t you EVER do that again.

There’s a Mighty Mouse cartoon about a wolf who decided to become a vegetarian after Mighty Mouse defeated him.

Veggies aren’t bad as long as you cover them with gravy.

If you don’t think, you can still be a [vegetable] vegetarian.

The only horrible joke is that you think the “meat” is meat.

Charlie Brown, you blockhead! A vegetarian diet is bad for dogs! You’re gonna send Snoopy to an early grave if you feed him that.

Funny how all the things they call “progress” today were tried back in the 1970’s, and were rejected.

No matter how much dogs might want to eat grass in your backyard, they will always need meat in their diets! Poor Snoopy…

Just pretend it’s meat, Snoopy. That’s how vegetarians choke down their vegetables.

I’ve been taking care of my sister’s dog for a few weeks and he had a recurring bout with diarrhea and throwing up so I took him to the vet so now he’s on probiotics and one medication to firm up his stool after he had a shot. When she picks him up this weekend I will tell her to check with the vet on continuing the probiotics, he’s 14 years old and probably needs help keeping his gut bacteria healthy.

I always laugh at the ads for fancy dog food that are human meals: chicken, sweet potatoes, etc. The only time I’d seen a dog eat that kind of meal was in “Charlie Brown Thanksgiving.”

Make up for the bad joke Charlie… lobster and steak tomorrow please.

A Very bad idea. Dogs are primarily carnivores, though the process of domestication has resulted in an ability to digest things their wild cousins can’t. Cats on the other hand are pure carnivores. Feeding them a vegetarian diet will kill them.
