This could end up like one of the “monkey’s paw” stories, or like a bargain with Farchgrind. He’ll live to 99, yes… but only after suffering from a crippling stroke at 45 and being paralyzed and bedridden for half a century :-(

Don’t sell yourself short. When you are 99 you will want to have a 100th birthday.

This is why you “treat” the arthritis, but not cure it.

Tomorrow Doc goes to the deli and takes a number for service… 99.

I remember when the song When I’m 64 came out in 1967 and I was 12 years old, I’m 69 now and those years went by like a blink of an eye. 99 is around the corner Doc.

You’ll probably welcome him with feeble arms. :)

What he didn’t tell you is that you will be bedridden with necessary constant medical attention until you turn 99……

I had my arthritic thumbs surgically repaired- so, iIm good until at least 99?
