I’m not sure I buy that Heart’s mother wouldn’t let her see Mamma Mia without an adult given some of the musicals, etc, she’s already been involved in. But… (I also wouldn’t have thought the movies were rated PG 13 but it looks like they are…)
Do kids really need “help” to get into a PG-13 movie these days?
I’ve remained under the impression from my long-ago youth that theaters don’t check the age of ticket-buyers until you get to R-rated movies. But perhaps kids are more restricted these days — ?
You don’t need “help” getting into a PG-13 movie; the age limit there is a suggestion, not a firm requirement like it is for R or NC-17. Addy is going to mind regardless of whether Heart was “accompanied” by someone older or not.

Dean’s last name is a reference to Mark Tatulli, the original creator of the comic

Not allowed to watch PG-13 movies? But didn’t you just had your period?

I didn’t realize Dean’s last name was Tatulli.

This may be an ignorant question, but how is it a “double feature” when it’s one movie?
I didn’t know kids Heart’s age were into ABBA.

Oh! Set up a dance routine for “Dancin’ Queen” and “Waterloo!” And, yes, that’s Molly Weasley in the trio!

Her mom will be mad at her. Because she wanted an excuse to go see it again.

Kids making a big deal out of a PG-13 movie feels so 90s-2000s.
