Oh Red…let’s not get crazy here!

Red’s mom ought to get a new hairdresser—the “beehive” went out with the ’60’s.

Seems like a lot of sewing for mom. But out of love for both, lol!

Today is my sister’s birthday which she shares with the fictional character Jack Reacher. I mentioned this earlier this year when it was mentioned that Red’s brother Martin was born on October 13. There was no reference to it being Martin’s birthday when this year’s October 13 strip appeared just over two weeks ago.

Will Rover have a costume? Newton has one, courtesy of his vet—he has several shaved areas from recent surgery, so we’ve been calling him Frankendog or Frankensnewt (but not to his sweet face).

Our costume? You’re pushing it, Red.

When I was in high school, I always wanted a flip like the other girls wore. Sadly, having naturally curly/wavy hair, mine would look like a sausage roll! LOL I totally gave up.

And here we have an excellent illustration of the old saying “Nothing is impossible for the person who doesn’t have to do it himself!”

This thing keeps growing!!!!!

In my family, we had to make our own costumes from whatever we could acquire for ourselves.
