I have a feeling that unlike most comic strips (i.e. this one’s male predecessor, “Calvin and Hobbes” by Bill Watterson, 1985-1995), this one will be around forever…
While there is only one direction leading directly towards home, every other direction leads away from it to a greater or lesser degree. (From “home” as a starting point, EVERY direction takes you away from it.)
Just pick a direction and stick to it. The odds that it will lead you back home are miniscule.
