Well I dunno. Maybe it’s a friendly snake?

There;s nothing easy about that street.

Good advice, Snow. There are too many people we’ll encounter in our lives who identify with that snake, and a lot of them hang out in the neighborhood around Easy Street to prey on those who are unsuspecting.

That Easy Street doesn’t look too easy even without the snake. Too many twists & turns. Easy Street should be straight & flat. Of course that would also be pretty boring.

Can the snake offer me “Boardwalk” or “Ventnor Street?”

Sometimes it’s best to follow your own path.

It looks as if this is a case where you don’t want to let the path show you the way.

“There’s a big snake on the path, Snow!” to paraphrase Indy.

If it’s in this strip its a very friendly snake XXX

Much depends on if you are the mouse or the snake, but in general the “easy way” and the “best way” are not the same.

So today it is

Sssssnow Sssssez, and the path is Easy Ssssstreet. :-)

I’d say the mouse has worked very hard to get where it is, and the friendly snake is directing it to a better path!

My folks lived for about 40 years within 3 miles of Easy St. I’m sure it isn’t the only one in the US. Our older granddaughter’s high school is on Wall St in the Bay Area suburb where we live.

When I’ve been privileged to observe a snake, I’ve marveled at the ease with which when folded into a zigzag it can move seemingly in two directions at once

Yeah. A lot more of that than usual happening lately.

Oh, well done, Theresa!! Truly a fine illustration of Snow’s wisdom.

They’ll eat it up just the same. Perhaps they’ll be eaten up.
