I shall bonk with abandon tomorrow. No head will be safe.

Well, even if he is dead, if a ghost tries to scare the kitties, it wouldn’t hurt to bonk him on the head. Just make sure it’s really a ghost first, and not Annie wearing a sheet over her head.

Today is:

NATIONAL CANDY CORN DAY. It’s the day before Halloween and we still have candy corn at my Walmart. We used to always sell out of candy corn at least 2 weeks before Halloween. I wonder why it isn’t selling as fast this year?

how do you bonk a spirit on the head, wouldn’t whatever you are bonking with go right through?

They had a ghost for awhile – wasn’t he a relative of Chesney’s? Sammy, starting to answer to Olive, Kitty, or maybe just my voice, is the stranger cat! He hides all day in really tight places and hisses at me when I find him and pet him, then comes out around 6 pm and is as loving and sweet as a cat can be, demanding attention, many pets, playing with toys and talking his head off. Split personality for sure! Joey continues to be a love bug all day. I really got lucky with these 2. Getting ready for a hike this morning, it will be in the upper 20s at the trailhead but no wind is expected and I am prepared with several layers. And there should be some snow left from yesterday.

Bonk a ghosk? LOL!

Oliver makes a very good point. Bonking might prove to be ineffective. What they really need is one of those proton packs like the Ghostbusters use. On another note, saw four chickadees, a vireo, and three juncos while out walking today.
