He doesn’t care he’s a false prophet. And these kids are ALWAYS quoting scripture. Guess he doesn’t care what God has said, or is going to do, to false prophets. One would think he’d be more concerned……

If he starts charging money to let people know about the great pumpkin, he can upgrade from false prophet to grifter.

Linus is like, “Oh brother.”

Shell companies thrive on false profits.

Or how about using fake I.D.‘s to vote in the Election. Hope it’s K. Harris and not D. Trump!

I have been a fan of this strip my whole life. As much as I love this strip and Charlie Brown himself and have empathized with him, the older I get the more I also identify with Linus. I also feel misunderstood and struggle with ‘normal’ people not always acting so. Then I remember God understands. See 2 Corinthians 12:7-9.

Okay, so this silliness continues huh, Linus should be allowed his delusions, if that’s what they are, why should he be treated differently than the rest of us ! ;-)It’s a beautiful Tuesday outside, I recommend going out to play ! ;-0

Perhaps Linus’ belief in the Great Pumpkin is an escape from Lucy’s bullying (even though she, as usual, threatens to hit him in the TV special) and other struggles he has to face.

Linus is not a false prophet. He sincerely believes in gully cats, queen snakes and The Great Pumpkin.

All “prophets” are false prophets, since there ain’t no “God”.

Charlton Heston hosted an episode of Saturday Night Live in 1993. One of the skits was a Ten Commandments parody. The set up was “Career Day” at a school in ancient Israel and his character’s job is a False Prophet. It is still one of the funniest skits to come from that era of SNL.
