Why is it so important to tell a lot of people you don’t know really what you’re doing and when you’re doing it? It shows how lonely for real friends they are.

I just roll my eyes and wish they’d get a life of their own. My life isn’t great, but it’s mine, and I have a wonderful hubby with whom to share it. And cats, of course.

The so-called “humble brag” that your life is going so great ain’t so humble is it?

I’ve solved that problem by never having looked at someone’s “status.”

For me, that started with my Sixth Grade teacher. And from then on, it was mostly teachers who earned my silent disrespect. Unfortunately, I didn’t always keep it well-hidden.

Aunty you are the living answer to that question.

I make sarcastic remarks to myself and my cats.

This is the only social media I use (GC comments) and yes, I’ve had some here tell me to “shut the hell up”.

The only people who send Christmas letters are those who like to impress others with their opulence.

Not concerned by others’ opinions of me and I am not quick to judge.. Everyone is entitled, nobody is perfect. Just ask them :D

other than this I don’t do social media. Luckily since I’m getting older when someone starts this bragging in person I can use having to go to the bathroom as an excuse and no one questions it

i often do…but usually use a different word than ‘hell’….

How we respond tells other people about who we are, I scroll to the next one and the one after that if need be.

I gotta say, this and NextDoor are the ONLY social media I’m on and that’s about as much as I can take, The idea of being obsessed with people who are obsessed with themselves is like a combination of a book by Kafka with a sandwich of rotten chicken — hard on the brain and bad for the body.

I’ve NEVER looked at anyone’s status. Just don’t care.
