The acknowledgment of artificial intelligence verifies that intelligence doesn’t exist and needs to be made up.

AI uses a LOT of electricity to do the training and a lot to actually do the pseudo-intelligence thing. That’s why the power plant in the back ground is giving up the ghost. Of course, mining for bitcoin (and many similar) sucks quite a lot of power too. Global warming anyone?

And let’s invent another crypto currency to soak up the rest of the energy along with life savings of the chronically naive.

This would be funnier if I wasn’t living in a country that has been cutting electrical power nationwide for 10 hours to 16 hours per day because of a shortage of water to power the hydroelectric plants.

For example, in my little patch of paradise, today through Sunday the power is out from midnight til 4 am; 8 am – 12 noon; and 3 pm until 8 pm. Who knows what Monday will bring?

The toll it is taking on our economy is horrific. Not just tourism but regular business has been severely affected with no end in sight. A shopkeeper I know who is by no means a wealthy man, needs refrigeration for the food products he sells. He spent $800 on a small diesel-powered generator to run his lights and coolers. It’s costing him $60 a day for fuel to keep it running and keep his store open!

Anyone who wants to deny that a changing climate has not caused the diminishment in normal precipitation, I invite them to come experience it for themselves!

Perhaps Mr. Bolling should save environmental topics till January, when the USA’s official position is that human-influenced climate change / global warming is “a Chinese hoax.”

The tech bros are aware of the problem. Their solution is to end-run nuclear power back into the grid. Mostly for themselves. Given their track record, Chagrin Falls just got about 3 Sieverts for everybody outside, and officially there is no such thing a radiation poisoning. It’s just weal moral fiber and a lack of faith in RFK.Jr.
