Our dog is behaving weirdly tonight. We put her to bed and in 10 or 15 minutes she wants out. She walks the yard and returns. Now on our sixth cycle. Wife claim it’s due to the sun’s magnetic fields flipping today. Personally I think there is a coyote outside.
Sleep. Sleep. Open eye. Sleep. Sleep. Yawn. Stretch. Go to food bowl. Lie down but remain alert for 2 hours. Go check owner is alive. Return to food bowl, remain alert for 1 hour. POUNCE ON FOOD! Chow down indigestion-style. Walk around. Look at birds. Regurgitate food. Eat puke. Play with toys. Go poop. Go for a run! Chase sibling. Return to sleeping. Repeat.
Get a drop feeder and they can eat whenever they want. Get a doggie door and a fenced yard and they can go out whenever they want. So, why do they spend 23 1/2 hours a day within three feet of me? They’re Havanese— velcro dogs.
My cat would use this calendar. She doesn’t pester me to feed her UNLESS I’m at my computer desk; then she carries on as if she’s minutes away from starving to death. She must be afraid I’ll become so rapt in what I’m doing on the computer that I’ll forget all about her.

But, what about the occasional “personal time” spent outdoors? Where is that on the dog clock?

Doggie wanting biscuits all times, not needing no clocks. Will re-gift to bear.

A 1-dinner-per-hour-clock. I guess the shorter hand is for hours, but there’s no scale?
