That’s still not free will. The characters in the movie don’t know the future either but their outcome is still predetermined and their choices are already made in advance by the writer.
RJ better check to see which bible version that Vern is using. He may have to look at a few more to find his answer. There are currently over 3,142 versions in over 2,073 languages available digitally on , of which 1,768 are available audibly. There are also versions in nearly 2,033 languages at and a similar number on the American Bible Society’s .
We all have limited free will subject to those with more. Sorry folks, there’s no supernatural entity that controls your life. Just to some degree, your boss, politicians , priests, whoever. You still have some amount of free will even if you keep making bad choices. It’s your choice.
Deuteronomy 29:29: The secret things belong to the LORD our God.
The specific prophecies (Christ’s birth, Cyrus delivering the Jews, etc.) have pretty much already been fulfilled.
The rest (they shall beat their swords into plowshares, etc.) won’t be fulfilled until the Millennium (or at the end), thus have little application to the nasty here-and-now :^(

I always turn to the comics page for my theology lessons. And why not, religion is a joke, anyway.

Without free will the whole afterlife thing is a crock. Reward or punishment for what you had to do is worse than a participation trophy.
