Funny story… I worked 40 years in radio. During the winter.. if I held a hand close to a circuit on the board (control panel) it would zap a circuit on or off…

    Do you experiment?

Yes; I’ve started canning meat (terrine to be precise) recently. To die for – and I definitely don’t refer to food poisoning.

You captured precisely the Assertive Hand of God reaching out to Adam and Adam’s limp wristed response to Adam receiving Eve from God. However, in the full picture, Eve’s eyes were also very telling about her unsuredness of being given by God to Adam……

How little we understand what touches off that tingle,That sudden explosion when two tingles intermingle.

I remember sending off for this little stick with a ‘light’ on one end that would turn on momentarily after you managed to build up a charge and then grounded it. Worthless little thing, but considering it was advertised right next to the X-ray specs, what could one expect.

As a child growing up my grandmother had a room size 100% wool area rug. It was beautiful cranberry red rug. In the fall and winter my brother, sister, and myself would shuffle our feet on the rug then touch each other. Sometimes you could really see a spark and hear it crack. It could really sting.

The secret to winning Zap Wars is to hold a small pointy metal object like a paper clip (with one wire bent out). Touching the target with the metal point would produce a lovely spark and crackle, while you would only feel a slight tingle.

Of course, when the other kids figured it out, it turned into a sort of zap fencing contest…en garde!

I would use this on the inattentive students, a buzz to an earlobe brought them right up!
