I never use my smart phone for social media. It has far greater potential than that.

You can have a smartphone and not engage with social media. I do!

Carry a physical book with you.

If everyone is addicted to the GPS in their pocket, it should be easy to know who was at the crime scene at the time. They can triangulate between them for better accuracy. It gives contacts for who may have put out the hit.

Let’s see. I have GPS, my pets’ GPS, all my shop cards, my newspapers, my kindle, apps about recognising plants and birds, my public transport tickets, train tickets apps… I think there’s some social media available but I have blocked them all. So yes, I do need my phone. Just not for social medias.

There is more to a ‘smartphone’ than ust social media. I don’t do social media on my phone.

Still no smartphone, which is smart.

And yet that’s all she’s talking about.

She learned about all that from a post on a social media website.

Social media is like Chinese food. An hour after you’ve eaten it you wonder why you’re hungry.
