Before $ Tree raised their price, every time I stopped in I would buy 2 rolls of paper towels. Just pulled out the last 2 rolls of Brawny®. Still working down my stack of foam plates from $General that were on sale.

And paid for it with generic money!

Generic vulture capitalism!

Just go to Costco. Kirkland brands are made by good companies, just the names are changed.

Does “generic” in this context means something like “no-name products”?

Silly vulture doesn’t want to pay more for the same exact thing just because it has a logo.

I always liked the old generic products at the supermarket the labels where straight foward

I buy what’s on special, whether generic or name brand.

Depending on the circumstances, generic is just fine.

I rarely see generics any more, now it’s store brands: Winco and Kirkland.

Some years ago I saw a video from the Dole pineapple factory in Hawaii. At first it was applying Dole labels to the cans then it stopped and when it started back up it was applying store brands.

I think he’s been taking generic drugs.

Generic or store brands are just as good as national brands, I buy them because they are much cheaper and head to head have the same ingredients as the expensive ones.

The concept doesn’t interest me. I’m not a member of generic nation X.
