Is Tracy beginning to lend credence to Sam’s hunches ?  Was hippie guy doing a variation on the beatnik banging on the bongos at the beach shtick and regurgitating the memory to himself as though he were addressing another ?

So, the solution might be teetering on the Tottens?

What kind of dance is the TA receptionist doing as Totten signs in? Why? Is she signalling for backup?

And how did a real Totten employee get picked up for RWI (riding while intoxicated – you don’t drive a subway) before Sprengstoff was picked up? And will the cops ask why Totten was there or just decide to rattle his cage?

In a strip ubiquitously riddled with coincidences this story line is looking sillier all the time.
