The “look” changes seasonally. The Natural Look requires many more products & time than the daily “5-minute face”. The “glamorous look” is somewhere in between. Trends sometimes really suck!
That used to be me. Then I went cold turkey and stopped carrying a purse. I carry credit cards and ID on a holder on a lanyard around my neck and under my clothes. Keys go in my pocket — and I won’t buy clothes that don’t have pockets.
I am still amazed at how many women’s pants and jackets don’t have pockets.
Somehow I think that tiny purse will be never be used. She will try to leave the house with it but realize how much other junk she ‘needs’ to have with her. I am really glad men’s’ pants normally have pockets.
It was an incredibly beautiful winter morning today. The sun was shining and there was a very fine snow falling in the -15C day. It looked like the air was filled with dancing sparks as the sun shone through the flakes of snow. Then the clouds came in yet again and it went back to being a normal beautiful winter day.
I used to carry a big purse like that, too ….. until it began causing me pain in my back and shoulders hauling it around. That’s when I pared it down to the absolute barest essentials that would fit in a small crossbody bag. That was several years ago. These days, I’m carrying a slightly bigger purse again, but only because I needed something I could also carry my Kindle in — just in case I go somewhere where I know I’ll have a lengthy wait time and want to take a “book” along with me in order to pass the time while I do.

Never carried a purse. Tried a few times when I was in high school, ended up leaving it someplace every time. Just never developed the habit. These days glad I never did. :)

I carry a small cross body purse…if I need to take anything larger (bottle of water or sun glasses) I take a bag along.
