Normally that is a very soothing melody, however, with Dear’s skills or shall I say lack of skills, I doubt his version is very soothing. Sorry, Fred.

Maybe you will get lucky an he will play the “Minute Waltz” Fred!

I take it he doesn’t play by ear.

Or tune the piano very often.

Or like me, can’t carry a tune in a bucket.

He’s the Guitar Bob of piano players. I’m sure Fred agrees.

Mr. Dear certainly is enthusiastic about his art!

Dear looks oblivious to Fred’s discomfort!

Fred we all must take the Good … With the Bad ;-)

My guess is that he is playing with more enthusiasm than skill.

“Belting out” and “lullaby” – two ideas that should be mutually exclusive.

According to Ambrose Bierce’s “Devil’s Dictionary”, a piano is “A parlor utensil for subduing the impertinent visitor. It is operated by depressing the keys of the machine and the spirits of the audience”.

He loves music. I love him!

The recording they play overhead at my hospitals whenever a baby is born is much more endurable. I sing along with my own lyrics: “Bless this child, bless this child, Bless this child with a good life; Keep it safe and keep it warm; May its every dream come true.”
