What I like and will miss after our boy eventually retires are comics like today’s. NORMAL, happy couple loving on each other the way all coupes ought to. I thank the Lord for my wife, she makes our lives like Arlo and Janis’s.

Attagirl Janis…..

Janis and I are similar in the obtuse way we respond to ‘things.’ I may take it too far. Sitting with friends our age one gentleman told his wife, “ You’re good looking for an old woman.” My wife immediately told me, “Don’t ever tell me I’m good looking for an old woman!”

I, without thinking said, “You’re not good looking for an old woman.” The coma only lasted three days.

I’m afraid to show this to my wife…

At my age, I’m pretty much a good person, father, and husband. Why change?

the only good resolution, is to be a better version of yourself each day forward, and that will take care of most of one’s issues and add less stress about trying to be perfect, and since being perfect does not exist, why try

So true. A man marries a woman because he loves her as she is. A woman marries a man because she thinks she can change him to be someone she could love.

Good for you Janis! The Lovely & Charming Mrs. Cowboy not only won’t accept that I’m about as changed as I’m going to get, but She doesn’t beat Herself up about it (She beats my self up about it……)

Um…Arlo? I strongly recommend you make sure to get that in writing.
