Hey, friends and families — does anyone miss, just a little bit, that we didn’t find out that someone spent 6.3 million at a Sotheby’s Auction, or bought a blank canvas for 1.6 million, or who had a hat 17 feet, 9.6 inches tall?
The banana in the art piece, which was titled “Comedian,” was first displayed in 2019. Therefore, it is important to note that the original banana was replaced with a fresh banana every several days. Once the art piece was sold in November 2024, Justin Sun ate the latest banana. None of the other bananas was ever saved, including the original. They were just thrown away, or eaten. Sun could still tape a new banana every week if he wants to. Keep in mind that is wasn’t just Sun who bid on this. There were others who drove the price to $6.2 MM. Was it art to begin with? The beholder and the other bidders said “yes.” Is it performance art to buy it and then eat it? Some would say “yes.” Could we all do more to spend more to help feed under-nourished people around the world? YES! Can we ignore events around us that might be better off ignored completely? Apparently not.

Crypto guy spends millions to eat a 25 cent piece of fruit while people around him starve there is something seriously wrong with this world.
Seems like he would get more attention helping out his fellow humans .

This appears to be the same banana mentioned in the December 26th, 2024 RBION comic.

And today we have three examples of too much money and/or too much time or you can’t fix stupid. Take your pick. Definitely first world happenings.

“Crypto Entrepeneur”? What in name of digital ersatz economics is that? I thought crypto turned out to be a con!
Let me help you out, NoName with your own inquiry; just because it is a con doesn’t mean someone didn’t make money from it! Get a clue, Son!

The blank canvas is titled General 52″ × 52″. Nope, no extra meaning to explain the alleged value.

Dire Straits “In the Gallery”:
And then you get an artist / Who says he doesn’t want to paint at all
Just takes an empty canvas / Sticks it on the wall
Birds of a feather / All the phonies and all the fakes
While the dealers they get together / And they decide who gets the breaks
And who’s gonna be …..in the gallery

Joshua must have a large studio. He should have enough space for supersize puzzles.

I hope that hat has a gyroscope inside. It looks seriously top heavy.
