My regular dentist has children’s comic books. Not only, I think, but I always stop looking at what else is available once I see the children’s comics. :)

My dentist’s office has NO printed materials of any kind now. Not even dental care brochures. :(

Car and Driver magazine online, is my fav.

I have a lot of trade magazines I take with me to read, or I’ll take my American Legion which is Conservative leaning an I’ll leave it beind, also get Imprimus from Hillsdale College and :eave it behind to hopefully edumacate someone else.

Before entering the doctor’s office buy a daily newspaper to read. The publishers of the newspapers that publish this comic strip will thank you.

If I know I have a long wait, I bring a book

At one of my doctor’s office there is a sign on the waiting room wall that says “No cell phone use, please”. Guess what everyone is doing.

Though it had nothing to do with our company, someone at my job used to bring in to the breakroom a papermill magazine called Pulp and Paper. Boy that was an exciting read, I’ll tell you.

I read Smart News or play a game.

I’m reminded of the time l was visiting someone in hospital. I looked across the ward and saw a whole family around a ‘loved’ one’s bed all staring into their phones.

You see these people everywhere now. Parents are no longer interested in their children and dog walkers are no longer interested in ‘Fido’.

They’re also bumping into me!

Maybe not in a dentist’s office, but they say that in a doctor’s waiting room, avoid the magazines because they are full of germs and can make you sick. Seems logical.

I bring a book. I get odd looks.

People, people who need People.

Neither my doctor nor my dentist have magazines in their waiting rooms at all.

Bring a deck of cards. Feeling lucky, sucker??? :)

He went to People Magazines site because Highlights doesn’t have a version online, I guess

I either read a real book, or do crossword/sudoku puzzles, also hard copies
