well, you’re asking for it, Flo. No? o_O
Comes home MOST nights
And the nights he doesn’t come home you know where he is. In the police cell. Safe and sound.
And another good attribute is the money he saves her by bathing before coming home
Always shows up, like a bad penny?
Of course, Funerals cost money.
The keyhole is wooden
Andy makes Alf Garnett look like Charles lngalls.
It is compared to bailing him out of jail or fishing him out of the canal. Flo should look it like Andy’s pint being half full rather than half empty.
He’ll never change and you’ll never get rid of him, Flo. Get into the cooking wine.
He actually believes coming home totally drunk is a good thing.
He always comes home to you, Flo, unless he’s in jail.
Let’s put it this way, Flo ain’t stayin’ up nights singing “Won’t You Come Home, Bill Bailey”!
And he leaves no leftover portions of pints.
He’s lucky Flo is spineless.
She does enjoy a nice quiet rest now and then.
Actually if he never came back, that would be great.
He’s got nothing else…..nothing!
Long ago, Flo once revealed to the viewers her secret: She married Andy because she prefers her own company. (This was said while lounging on the sofa with a magazine, a glass of wine, and chocolates.)
One of my favorite classics was Flo turning down Andy, trying to scrounge money.
Andy: “Me mum warned me yer were greedy and grasping!”
Flo: “Do yer mean to tell me yer mum told yer not to marry me?”
Andy: “She did, bless her heart!”
Flo starts to cry, and turns to the reader, “How I’ve WRONGED that dear woman!”
And, actually, Flo said nothing…
At least Andy doesn’t post political comments on comics that are NOT political.
With an attitude like that? Change the locks!
