Lack of common sense?

It’s one of those newfangled push button models. ‘Why, in MY day…’

Just pick up the stupid phone already!

It may seem a bit absurd but I rarely, if ever, answer our landline.

Number 1: No one ever calls me on our landline!

Number 2: Landline calls tend to be all from telemarketers.

Number 3: If it’s important, they’ll leave a voice mail, and my wife will call them back.

I think the only time we use it is to call a taxi.

Then be courteous and find out who it is for, Baldo.

I bet a lot of young kids would be uncomfortable using a land line phone. It seems natural to older folks but not to kids.

In the 80s and 90s, teens would wait beside the phone … then let it ring 4-5 times, before answering it.

We wanted to talk to our crush. We just didn’t want them to know how we pined for them.

If you have to have a landline, give that number to those businesses that want your number for registration. Then, when they start calling let your elementary school age children answer the phone telling them those are Santa’s helpers checking on them.

Ring! Ring! Ring! Ring! "Somebody get that! It might be the PHONE!

Baldo’s gotten very selfish and uncaring, lately.

Man I used to like that kid but he is becoming a real….

When I moved into my current place, the landlord still had a landline. All we ever got were SPAM calls. I eventually convinced him it wasn’t needed with cell phones available.

even in 2017 that phone was beyond dated
