Considering we haven’t had any sunshine since December, I am surprised I don’t really have the winter blahs yet. Guess walking outside regurlarly, even without sun, does work.
In college there was a fad of using high uv sunlamps to “cure” acne. One guy spent way too much time with the lamp in one session and got a burn. Face was bright pink. Fortunately he had protected his eyes with cotton balls. For days he walked around campus looking like a pink raccoon in reverse.

I thought they used bright florescents for SAD lights; not incandescent. (Tho LED is now prevalent, of course..)
