It was amusing back during the campaign when things like freeing violent felons was brought up, all the magats said he would never do that, or some variation.
I commented that it was amazing that magats were going to vote for someone because they would NOT do what they promised.
.
I am pretty sure that no magats will remember saying that, or even thinking that.
Itās just not how their memories work. Unless itās part of the current Fox/right wing media LIEs, they wonāt know or remember.
.
I donāt remember seeing ANY magat comments yesterday about 1500 violent convicted felons being pardoned. By today, most of them have forgotten about it.
.
And Stantis believes itās exactly the same as Bidenās preemptive pardons of Trumpās announced targets.
We donāt have to ādo thisā. there are no decisions to make and no actions to take. It is all done for us now. And we voted for it. We have the leadership we deserve.
Can I just say, I grew up watching war movies, WWII documentaries, WWII newsreels, and, later, the History Channel when it cared about history. I know a Nazi salute when I see one. And I saw one, Elon.
75% of immigrant farm workers didnāt show up yesterday in Bakersfield because of fears of ICE raids under the new residency.
Americaās rural and agricultural regions will be the hardest hit from trumpās immigration policies. Food prices are going to skyrocket.
āPeople arenāt going to work and kids arenāt going to school,ā mirroring mass school absences following past workplace raids in states like Mississippi, New Mexico, and Tennessee.
ICE agents in unmarked Chevy Suburbans rounded up and detained immigrants in the area, profiling individuals they believed to be field workers, as the harassment of naturalized U.S. citizen Ernesto Campos amid the Bakersfield raids can attest to.
The end result: acres of unpicked oranges and vegetables roasting in the California sun at the height of the season.

Joint Statement from AG Brown, Twelve Other Attorneys General: State and Local Law Enforcement Cannot Be Commandeered for Federal Immigration EnforcementOLYMPIA ā Attorney General Nick Brown, along with the attorneys general of California, New York, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Mexico, Rhode Island and Vermont, today issued a joint statement addressing a memorandum from a Trump political appointee at the U.S. Department of Justice addressing state and local involvement in federal immigration enforcement:
āIt is well-established ā through longstanding Supreme Court precedent ā that the U.S. Constitution prevents the federal government from commandeering states to enforce federal laws. While the federal government may use its own resources for federal immigration enforcement, the court ruled in Printz v. United States that the federal government cannot āimpress into its service ā and at no cost to itself ā the police officers of the 50 States.ā This balance of power between the federal government and state governments is a touchstone of our American system of federalism.
āDespite what he may say to the contrary, the President cannot unilaterally re-write the Constitution. The President has made troubling threats to weaponize the U.S. Department of Justiceās prosecutorial authority and resources to attack public servants acting in compliance with their state laws, interfering with their ability to build trust with the communities they serve and protect. Right now, these vague threats are just that: empty words on paper. But rest assured, our states will not hesitate to respond if these words become illegal actions.
āAs state attorneys general, we have a responsibility to enforce state laws ā and we will continue to investigate and prosecute crimes, regardless of immigration status. We will not be distracted by the Presidentās mass deportation agenda.ā
