These Richard Scarry take-offs are brilliant. The sequel, More Richard Scarry’s 21st Century Busy Town Jobs, is even darker than this one (and, unfortunately, even more reflective of the era the US is now entering). And his Richard Scarry’s Busy, Busy 21st Century Classroom is so grim that Bolling himself said of it on his Substack page, “I drew this comic, but I can barely look at it.”
